TICKETS – ENTRANCE CONTROL - VISITATION
Before entering Jyske Bank Boxen and the fanzone all guests will have to go through security and visitation checks.
The access to Jyske Bank Boxen entrance 4, 5 & 9
and the fanzone is through the arrival hall. All tickets will be scanned.
Find your friends. A designated ‘Meeting Point’ is located in the non-ticketed area in the arrival hall. Please see the sign for ‘Meeting Point’.
The following items are not allowed inside the venue:
Camera/professional photo equipment with removable lens
Beverages (regardless of packaging)
Weapons of any kind
Any noisemakers (megaphones, horns etc.)
Purses and bags larger than the size DIN A4 (210x297mm).
Flacons of perfume etc.
Umbrellas (umbrellas can be handed in free of charge in the information stand in the arrival hall)
The list is not exhaustive. The items will be rejected at the entrance. Save yourself the regret and other guests the wait by leaving the items at home.
FLAGS AND BANNERS
Flags and banners without political messages are allowed in the arena with the following restrictions:
Flags and banners should be within reasonable size. They should not interfere with the view of the other spectators. If they do, the Security is entitled to seize the banner/flag. Pole: Length up to 1,50 m (60 inches). Plastic material with blunted edges. Telescopic rods are allowed. No wooden or metal material. Drums as musical instruments are allowed into the arena and onto your seat, however, if the drum is physically in the way for other guests, you may be asked to remove it. Drums are not allowed at any time in the isles/walking areas.
Jyske Bank Boxen is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is only allowed in designated outside smoking areas. All kinds of tobacco products, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is prohibited other than in any designated areas.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
You can purchase beer, water and wine as well as junk food inside Jyske Bank Boxen and the arrival hall. In the fanzone you will find handball café, burgers, hotdog stands, slush-ice, a tapas bar and sushi.
Exceptional cases for beverages and food are:
FOOD: Diabetic people are allowed to bring their needed food, after presentation of a medical certificate.
BEVERAGES: Ticket holders who need special beverages due to illness. They are allowed to carry on 0.5 l in either a PET bottle or Tetra pack, after presentation of a medical certificate.
ATM (CASH MACHINE) & TYPES OF PAYMENT
An ATM is located inside the foyer of Jyske Bank Boxen. The following types of payment will be accepted inside Jyske Bank Boxen at the concession stands: Debit card, MasterCard, Visacard, Visa Pay, DinersClub, American Express, Maestro, China Union Pay & JCB.
You can leave your coat in the cloakroom in Jyske Bank Boxen’s foyer. Price DKK 20.-
There is only room for one carer per wheelchair in the
handicap area. The carer must use the same entrance as the wheelchair user. Disabled toilets are available in Jyske Bank Boxen and the arrival hall.
There are several toilet areas in Jyske Bank Boxen, the arrival hall and the fanzone.
You will find merchandise stands in the fanzone and inside Jyske Bank Boxen.
In case of the cancellation of one or more matches, the face value of the ticket will be refunded /excl. the ticket fee). Any amount you might have paid in addition to the printed price will be lost.
REFUNDING OF TICKETS
Bought tickets will not be refunded. See further information on Ticketmaster.com.
According to the Danish Ministry of Culture’s Act no. 769, it is forbidden to resell tickets to public entertainment, if the sale is made to gain profit.
A violation of this law will be fined.

When the 26TH Men’s World Championship takes place in Herning, one of the MCH exhibition halls will be transformed into a giant mecca of food and beverages, activities for both children and adults, a large and varied music and entertainment program and many cosy ‘hang out’ areas. In the Fanzone everyone can join the fun and experience the atmosphere before, between and after the matches.
Most of the 10.000 m2 Fanzone contain a large variety of activities. You can beat your friends in air hockey or fussball, try table tennis and visit all the entertaining stands. For instance, you can purchase the latest IHF World Championship merchandise. On the stage, you will experience a program with live music, competitions, entertainment and dance shows
You can also experience autograph signings on stage with 2-3 Danish players (only after the Danish matches) and of course great music and atmosphere.

BY CAR – FREE PARKING
You will find free parking by MCH Messecenter Herning and Jyske Bank Boxen. Visitors arriving by car are recommended to park at parking areas P2, P3 and P5. If you have a wheelchair ticket and a handicap sign, you will be ushered to the parking area (P1) close to Jyske Bank Boxen.
BY BUS – BEFORE AND AFTER THE MATCHES
Extra busses will run from the MCH sign at Herning Station (city) and directly to Jyske Bank Boxen.
If you plan to travel by train, the Herning Messecenter Station (unmanned train-stop) is located 700 metres from Jyske Bank Boxen. From here
you can easily get to the city centre and Herning Station. Arriva train service between Herning Station and Herning Messecenter Station generally
runs on an hourly basis.
COACH / TOURIST BUS PARKING – BEHIND MCH ARENA (FOOTBALL STADIUM)
Follow the highway to ‘Messecenter Herning’ and take exit 42. Turn right towards Jyske Bank Boxen and drive round MCH Arena (football stadium)
on Kaj Zartows Vej to park on the gravel along MCH Arena.

The preliminary round is played in 4 groups of 6 teams in the cities of Berlin, Munich, Herning and Copenhagen.
Denmark is playing in group C in Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning except for their first match which is played in Royal Arena, Copenhagen.
The final and the bronze match are played in Herning.
